Summer Solstice and the Blessing of Insight

Blessed Summer Solstice to everyone~ May the sun light up your souls~

My celebration yesterday was not as long and involved as I wanted it to be because …exams… -_- but I made the most of the time I had and made a simple ritual to salute the Sun God on his longest day.

In Greek mythology the Sun God Apollo is, among many things, also a patron of oracles and divination. Usually I will “only” ask messenger angels and spirits to help me with divination, and I didn’t have such a close relationship with Sun but yesterday I suddenly had the inspiration and decided to seize the opportunity and ask for some much needed guidance. (I had a lot of stress and uncertainty, mainly academic and future career related)

I. was. blown. away.

The Reading Quarters

What I have been doing over a few weeks now is extending my range of clients for tarot readings. (Social media and the internet are wonderful for this type of venture, because it means I can give readings to people on the other side of the globe without any problem.) So today I decided to write about an important thing to consider for reading tarot (or oracle cards or runes or whatever other divination): The elements of the right environment, the condition of the reading quarters. 30 QuestionsTarot writing challenge

Since there has suddenly descended upon me a maddening amount of university work, I have neglected the tarot half of this blog, and silently killed the “card of the week”… however, now that I’m injured and MIA from the archery scene, I thought I’d take up the 30 Day Tarot Challenge, that I found here , on Calamity’s Child blog. I will answer all the questions, but with a slightly modified structure: since some of the questions are too short for an individual blog post, I will group the questions into blocks. In that sense it will cease to be 30 days, a more appropriate name therefore is “30 questions tarot challenge”. I hope you enjoy! kitty hugs to all~ Joouna

Well well, look who’s back :3

I am make my glorious entrance back into the blogosphere 😀 After one month of break due to… aaaaargh exams!!! I am free to do as I please again. :3

Let me share some of my hyperexcitement with you:

  • First off the exam period is over and there is a high chance that I passed all the exams, hoorah!
  • Secondly, tomorrow is a big day because I’m getting a new bow!!! It is going to be an awesome recurve bow by SFarchery. Going to that archery shop is also already an experience in itself, it is owned by Peter Elzinga, champion dutch archer. It will involve getting really really early on a train to gonthere but it is all totally worth it 😀
  • Thirdly, I have thought of doing short, free tarot readings, in order to practice my skills on a wider range of people! In a few days I will have the page set up, more on that soon.
  • Also, the sun is shining today. Sunshine is wonderful ^_^

Anyway, that’s all for now, tomorrow I will probably be shamelessly showing off my new bow so stay tuned ^_^

kitty hugs to all~
